Your new role

Short version: Hunt for new customers from the hotel industry in Canada and North America

  • Travel! To conduct presentations at the customer’s location (or online) and participate in local/international trade fairs
  • Do field sales as part of your independent customer acquisition and support new customers until implementation
  • Prepare offers and contracts, including price negotiations in consultation with our management,
  • Maintain your customer base in CRM, including activities and contract management
  • Report directly to our head of business development and work closely with our management, owner, all IT experts to provide input for product development, as well as marketing and customer support teams
About you
You should have:
  • Professional experience in hotel management and/or in sales
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Professional fluency in English, French is a plus
  • Independence yet knows how to be a team player, as well as a communicative and responsible working style
  • Customer-focused orientation and readiness to travel

Your new role
  • Support of new and existing customers during set-up and implementation of our software
  • Communication, coordination of project contents in cooperation with customers, colleagues, and partner companies

Germany

Your New Role  
  • You maintain existing customer relationships and continuously expand them by proactively supporting and assisting existing customers as their main point of contact
  • You manage the customer database in the CRM, document customer needs, and create, process and manage offers & contracts
  • You are responsible for a smooth exchange of information between the departments – directly report to our head of business development, work closely with your team, the management, the owner and the marketing and support teams, providing them with valuable input for the implementation of customer requirements
  • After extensive induction, you will present new product features to our existing customers and coordinate product rollouts with the customer and your colleagues, if necessary
About You  
  • You have gained several years of professional experience in the hotel industry and/or in a reactive sales position
  • You are proactive in communication, empathetic and have excellent social skills
  • You are focused and work conscientiously, and have a keen ability to create and process contracts and offers
  • You are willing to learn and enjoy helping to find or create solutions for customer needs
  • You are fluent – could speak and write business German (C1) and English
  • You have a sense of responsibility and team spirit, plus a confident and credible presence

About you
  • You are comfortable with the above-mentioned tasks and partly already familiar with them
  • You have completed vocational training and have experience in the hotel industry (ideally in finance or revenue management) or at least 2 years of professional experience in accounting or controlling
  • You have a strong understanding of numbers and good analytical skills
  •  You have excellent MS-Office skills and you are particularly passionate about Excel
  •  You are able to familiarize yourself well with new software applications and you can quickly use them independently
  •  You have good to very good English skills (at least B2)
  • You have a strong sense of responsibility and commitment, a high level of initiative you are able to work in a team
