Fairmas Strengthens Its Commitment to Product Innovation with the Appointment of Frithjof Niessen as Chief Product Officer 

Berlin, Germany – July 2026 – Fairmas, a leading provider of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), controlling, and management reporting software for the hospitality industry, is strengthening its commitment to product innovation with the appointment of Frithjof Niessen as Chief Product Officer (CPO). 

Having helped shape Fairmas’ products for 11+  years, Frithjof brings extensive hospitality experience, product leadership, and a deep understanding of the company’s vision to the executive leadership team. In his new role, he will lead the product strategy and innovation roadmap for Farmas, helping drive the next generation of financial planning and analysis software for hotels worldwide. 

Frithjof’s career began in hotel operations, where he spent nearly a decade gaining firsthand insight into the daily challenges faced by hospitality professionals. This operational background continues to influence his customer-first approach to product development. 

Since joining Fairmas in 2015 as a Product Manager, Frithjof has played a key role in the company’s product evolution, including the launch of the FairPlanner web application. Over the years, he helped establish and expand the Product Management team, laying the foundation for the continued growth and development of Fairmas’ software.

“I’m two months into the role, but eleven years into Fairmas, so this isn’t a cold start,”

As Chief Product Officer, Frithjof is responsible for the strategic direction of Fairmas products, supporting more than 5,500 hotels and over 18,000 users worldwide. His focus is on accelerating product innovation, enhancing the customer experience, and advancing intelligent capabilities, including AI where it delivers meaningful value for customers, while ensuring Fairmas continues to meet the evolving needs of the hospitality industry. 

Hotels today are operating in an increasingly complex environment, with greater data volumes, faster planning cycles, and rising expectations for timely financial insights.
