Fairmas to attend FITUR International Tourism Trade Fair
Software company brings hotel financial planning and controlling solutions to Madrid
Berlin, 09. January 2018: Fairmas GmbH, the software development company that specializes in effective financial planning and controlling solutions for the hotel industry, continuously strengthens its global presence by attending FITUR 2018 that will take place on 17-21 January in IFEMA-Feria de Madrid in Madrid, Spain. FITUR is one of the biggest tourism fairs worldwide and number one on the Iberian Peninsula. Seeing the strong demand from the Iberian region, the Berlin-based company decided to participate in the long established international trade fair to meet with potential clients who can benefit from Fairmas solutions.
FITUR is an annual meeting point for tourism professionals from all over the world, and the leading trade fair for inbound and outbound Latin American markets. The event serves as a global communication platform in order to develop future strategies taking into account the changes in consumer demand and thus generally promote the tourism business.
In 2017, FITUR has beaten the participation record as shown in the following statistics:
- 9,893 exhibiting companies from 165 countries/regions
- 135,838 trade participants and 109,134 people from the general public
(Highlight of the participation figures was the 18.8%increase in the number of international trade visitors compared to the previous edition)
- 6,800 scheduled appointments brought about by the volume of agendas organized by FITUR within the different B2B
- Of the total 244,972 participants, designations were:
39% Chairman / Managing Director
35% Sales director, Marketing Manager
20% Sales Executive, Consultant
- 7,542 journalists attended thus proving the importance of FITUR on the international circuit of tourism sector events
