Hotel performance January 2014 in comparison to previous year

Last year, June was a successful business month in Cologne / Bonn, because all the public holidays fell in May. This year, the prerequisites for business sector trade are far worse because some public holidays (Whitsun and Corpus Christi) fell in June. This means the destination suffered in terms of occupancy (-6 %) and room rates (-4 %), which led to a 9 % drop in RevPar.
